What is Breathwork & Pranayama?
Breathwork is a growing modern trend that has its roots in Yoga with the practice of Pranayama propagated some 5000 years ago.
In Sanskrit, “prana” means life energy and “yama” means to gain control.
Pranayama and breathwork can be described as using specific breathing techniques to positively impact bodily systems and functions such as nervous system, blood circulation, cardiovascular functioning, as well as endocrine and metabolic activities.
